  1. Funds

Your Account may hold a positive balance for various reasons. These may include instances where you have prepaid fees, charges, or services via the Go-B Platform. If you are a Seller, your Account could reflect positive funds when you have successfully completed a Task and the corresponding funds have been disbursed to you.

The funds within your Account are securely kept in our operational accounts held with financial institutions. It’s important to note that these funds are not kept separately but may be pooled together with our general operating funds or the funds of other users.

You are not entitled to any interest, or other earnings for funds that are in your Account.

While our operational accounts may generate interest from the financial institutions where they are held, this interest belongs to Go-B and does not entitle you to any imputed interest on the funds within your Account. We bear no liability to any user for any such interest on these funds.

If your Account Displays a negative balance, we may take the following actions:

  1. offset the negative amount with any funds that are subsequently added to your Account.
  2. If you maintain funds in multiple currencies within your Account and one currency becomes negative for any reason, we may offset the negative balance using funds held in a different currency, applying an exchange rate determined by us.
  3. Deduct amounts you owe us from any money subsequently added to or received into your Account.
  4. Temporarily suspend or restrict your Account until the balance is no longer negative.

You acknowledge and consent to the following:

  • Go-B does not operate as a bank or a licensed financial institution, nor do we offer banking or financial services to you.
  • The funds displayed in your Account, which may encompass payments from us, or fees and charges owed to us, represent our unsecured obligations to you. These obligations pertain to your right to instruct us to facilitate payments in connection with the purchase and sale of Tasks through the Go-B Platform.
  • If we are required to release funds from your Account to you, you will become our unsecured creditor until such funds are disbursed to you.
  • We do not assume the role of a trustee or fiduciary in relation to these funds or payments.
  • The funds displayed in your Account are neither insured nor guaranteed as deposits.
  • Funds may only be added to or withdrawn from your Account through mechanisms provided by us on the Website, and you must exclusively utilize these methods for payments or receipts related to Tasks.
  • Refunds, when due, will be returned solely to the original deposit source and cannot be redirected to any other payment source unless agreed to in writing by Go-B.
  • We will hold funds equal to the amount in your Account in an account maintained by us with a financial institution or in any manner determined at our sole discretion. These funds are not segregated into a separate account.
  • Your funds may be commingled with the funds of other Users and our corporate funds. However, we remain obligated to release or refund in accordance with your instructions as outlined in this User Agreement.
  1. Limits and Fraud Prevention

We retain the authority to suspend a user’s withdrawal request if there are suspicions of fraudulent origins of the funds.

Should we discover that any funds received into an Account result from a fraudulent transaction with another Account, immediate reversal will take place. If these funds have already been disbursed to you, you are obligated to return them to your Account. Failure to do so may result in the suspension, limitation, or cancellation of your account. Additionally, we may take measures to recover these funds.

In our sole discretion, we may impose limits on some or all of the funds within your Account, effectively preventing their use if:

  1. We perceive an unacceptable level of risk associated with you, your Account, or any of your transactions. This includes situations where there is a potential risk of funds being subject to reversal or chargeback.
  2. We believe that the beneficiary of a payment is not you.
  3. The payment is being directed to a country where our services are not offered.
  4. Legal requirements or requests from law enforcement agencies mandate such action.

In the event of a dispute, we may, under specific circumstances, place a temporary limit on the funds in your Account to cover potential liability, if the dispute is resolved in your favor, the limit on your funds will be lifted, and these funds may be released to you. Conversely, if the dispute does not conclude in your favor, we may deduct the funds from your Account. Furthermore, we may impose limits on your account while investigating suspected fraudulent or unacceptable behavior until the matter is resolved.

  1. Refunds

You have the option to request a refund for any funds deposited into your Account. Should we approve the refund, the funds will be returned to you using the same payment method(s) you initially used to make the payment to us, except for when an alternative has been agreed to in writing, by Go-B.

Additionally, we reserve the right to issue refunds to Users even if they haven’t specifically requested a refund under the following circumstances:

  1. when required by law or when we believe it’s legally mandated.

  3. When we refund funds in accordance with any refund policy specified by us from time to time.
  4. In cases where we identify that the original payment made by you was fraudulent.
  5. When you have made an unintentional duplicate payment.

In the event that you initiate a chargeback request or engage in any process akin to a “Request for Information” or similar procedure, you explicitly consent to our sharing of any and all information pertaining to your agreement with these terms and conditions. This sharing of information is undertaken to counteract any such chargeback request.

If you have already initiated a chargeback request with your credit card issuer, it is imperative that you refrain from requesting a refund of funds by directly contacting us. In doing so, you must avoid any attempt at double recovery.

Should we reasonably determine, after thoroughly considering all relevant circumstances, that you have made an excessive or unreasonable number of refund requests or chargebacks, we reserve the right to take action, which may include the suspension, limitation, or closure of your Account.

  1. Chargebacks

A chargeback, which represents a challenge to a payment initiated by a User through their card issuer or financial institution, and any subsequent reversal directive, is undertaken by the issuer of the payment product or third parties (such as payment processors), and not by us. We are obligated to adhere to and act upon these instructions.

You acknowledge and consent to our right to recover any chargebacks and reversals imposed on us by payment product issuers or third parties (such as payment processors) in relation to funds paid to you by Buyers through the Website. This includes covering any associated processing fees or any other costs incurred resulting from these chargebacks and reversals.

You further agree that we reserve the authority to reverse payments made to you if they are subject to a chargeback or reversal instruction from your payment product issuer or third parties (such as payment processors). In the event you initiate a chargeback request or any other process similar to a “Request for Information,” you expressly grant us consent to share any and all information related to your acceptance of these terms and conditions. This sharing of information is carried out with the aim of countering any such chargeback request.

For subsequent withdrawals, there may also be a delay of up to fifteen days, if our fraud prevention protocols necessitate such a delay.

We may request that you undergo the verification process by Go-B prior to initiating any fund withdrawal from your Go-B Account, regardless of whether a delay has been implemented or not.

Furthermore, we hold the right to close any account that maintains a balance of zero or is in a negative balance.

In addition to other remedies available to us, if you breach this User Agreement, you are required to settle all outstanding fees, compensate us for any losses and costs incurred (including employee time), and cover reasonable expenses, including legal fees, associated with investigating the breach and collecting fees.

Should we decide to close your Account for reasons other than a breach of this User Agreement, unless otherwise specified within this User Agreement, you will be eligible to receive any outstanding payments owed to you by us.
